Preparation

• Respect Time Limits: Be aware of the allotted time for each performance to keep the event running smoothly.

During the Event

• Listen Attentively: Show respect for fellow performers by listening quietly while they play.

• Applaud Generously: Support your fellow artists with applause and positive feedback.

• Stay in the Moment: Avoid distractions like talking or using your phone during performances.

Performance Etiquette

• Introduce Yourself: Briefly introduce yourself and your song to engage the audience.

• Be Gracious: Thank the audience and venue after your performance.

• Handle Mistakes Gracefully: If something goes wrong, stay calm and carry on with your performance.

Post-Performance

• Take the time to connect with other performers and audience members after your set.

• Provide Positive Feedback:  Give parise and recognition for good performance, especially if it demonstrates musical growth.

• Purchase food or drinks to support the establishment hosting the event.
